Marie van Vollenhoven

Netherlands, Maastricht

Marie van Vollenhoven (Amsterdam 1983) has a degree in visual art and lives and works in Maastricht as an independent artist, theatre maker and lecturer in the interdisciplinary art and design department. She works with fabulous manual and digital techniques in versatile multi-disciplinary art. She collaborates with musicians, dancers, writers and other artists and has many varied appearances to her name. She is a traditional drawing and painting artist as well as an installation and theatre maker, as explained on her foundations website, she is into theatre, film, dance, music, visual art, philosophy, science, technology and society.
